Safety and Training

May 03, 2024 by John B. Ward

Our Safety Committee, directed by Arborist Jim Roach, continues to guide our company’s safety culture. We meet weekly for staff development training, and we conduct two full days of training each year.

Each of our employees must accept and follow all established safety, loss control, and risk management regulations and procedures. We will continue to work with our staff and industry leaders to elevate safety procedures for the wellbeing of our employees and to maintain the highest level of care within the work zones at our job sites.

It takes years to learn the skills needed to be a first-class arborist, and we are committed to teaching young arborists to be the best. In the past year, we’ve held training sessions on such topics as structure pruning, tree climbing, public relations, and cabling.
